I’m reading ‘Worthy’ by @jamiekernlima at the moment. I’d known her story and that if It Cosmetics for years before hearing her speak on stage at a Brendon Burchard event in San Diego and that next year she became one of my Virtual Board of Advisors. Every word she said resonated.
In her new book - read it by the way, one chapter is The Lie: Labels Are Permanent, hit me and reminded me that I really did believe that. It took me so long to remove so many labels. It also made me realise that, I have been wearing some I don’t like again. So back to doing the work to remove them.
It also reminded me of this clip from when I was doing The Samantha Leith Show - I gotta do it again by the way! I didn’t think I was creative because I couldn’t draw, doing the show gave me the power to give myself the label of Creative.
My challenge to you today - think of some labels that aren’t serving you and do the work to find more positive ones to replace them. Oh and buy her book!
