I’ve succumbed to the cuteness.
Charlie’s favourite spot was always on the couch with her head on the side as a pillow.
We haven’t had her there since bringing her home out of fear she would fall.
Today after many ‘puppy dog eyes’ I lifted her up.
She’s so happy.
I’ll sit here next to her to make sure she doesn’t fall.

Sometimes life throws us more lemonades than we need to have a successful stand at a sports ground.
When it's like that, even with the best journaling habit we can be a bit lost for words.
You see it's in the writing it out that things often feel more real, and it's human nature to try and avoid that reality - Netflix anyone?
The problem is, it's also in this acceptance and understanding of what's going on, that we can help ourselves.
Here are 5 loving journal prompts that can help you through a hard time.
Every word you write becomes a stepping-stone to understanding and to moving forward.
This journey of yours? It's brave. It's powerful. And you're not walking it alone.
I have stuck my head in the sand way too many times to avoid the pain of hard times and whilst I sometimes cringe and would rather rearrange the pantry then write on one of these days, I do my best to stick to the habit and these prompts help me.
With all that has been going on with Charlie 🐕️ over the last couple of weeks, I missed a few days, and those pesky feelings got worse. When I nutted it out and looked at ways I could help myself some of that fog lifted.
I invite you to do the same.

I’m not sure if @denisedt and I are planning world domination or just enjoying behaving like kids on a swing….probably the kid thing.
I don’t think we should ever shed our playfulness, so when life’s getting a bit too serious I do my best to inject some more fun.
We may have the signs from @theordinary behind but we do our best to be extraordinary 🤣
Catching up with friends whenever you can and doing something that brings you joy is one way to inject that fun and stay youthful. We went off to see a musical just after this, and there may also have been a great meal and some shopping involved.
As winter kicks in and we ramp up for the EOFY here in Australia, this is your friendly reminder to go do something fun!
