Let's talk about the one thing that is absolutely essential for healthy, glowing skin - WATER! 💧 While we all know that drinking water is important for our overall health, did you know that it can also work wonders for our skin?
First and foremost, water helps to keep our skin hydrated, which is crucial for maintaining a healthy, plump complexion. When our skin is dehydrated, it can look dull, dry, and even lead to premature aging and make our menopausal skin look & feel worse. By drinking plenty of water throughout the day, we can help to keep our skin looking fresh and radiant.
In addition to hydrating our skin from the inside out, water also helps to flush toxins out of our body. This means that by drinking enough water, we can help to prevent breakouts(thought we were done with them) and other skin issues.
BONUS staying hydrated can even help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over time.
So, how much water should you be drinking? The answer can vary depending on your age, weight, and activity level, but as a general rule of thumb, aim for at least 8 glasses of water per day. And if you're someone who struggles to remember to drink enough water throughout the day, try carrying a reusable water bottle with you wherever you go - it can be a game changer!
