Do you ever feel like you don't deserve your accomplishments?
Do you feel like you're a fraud, and that someone will eventually discover that you're not as good as you seem?
You're not alone, congratulations, you're human!
These feelings are common, and they have a name: imposter syndrome.
Imposter syndrome is the feeling that you're not good enough, despite evidence to the contrary. It's the fear of being exposed as a fraud, and the belief that your success is due to luck, not skill. But the truth is, you are deserving of your achievements. You worked hard to get where you are, and you should be proud of yourself.
Identifying the triggers of your imposter syndrome is the first step to overcoming it. What situations make you feel like a fraud? Is it receiving praise, being in a leadership role, or starting a new project?
Once you know your triggers, you can work on reframing negative thoughts into positive ones. Instead of thinking I don't deserve this, try thinking I worked hard for this, and I earned it.
Practicing self-compassion is also important. Be kind to yourself, and treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding that you would offer a friend.
Seek support from those around you, and don't be afraid to ask for help.
Recognise your achievements, no matter how small they may seem.
And finally, embrace your imperfections. Nobody is 'perfect', and that's fantastic.
So the next time you feel like a fraud, remember that you're not alone.
You can overcome imposter syndrome!
You got this! 💪🏼

Success means different things to different people, and it's important to define it for yourself.
It's SO easy to get caught up in society's definition of success, whether it's having a high-paying job, a big house, or fancy cars. But is that what success really means to you? Take some time to reflect on what truly matters to you and what you want to achieve in life.
Perhaps success to you means being able to work remotely from a beach, spending more time with your family, or pursuing a passion project. Whatever it may be, defining success on your own terms can help you live a more fulfilling life.
However, it's important to note that success doesn't come overnight. It takes work, consistency, and perseverance to achieve your goals. With the right growth mindset and attitude, you can overcome obstacles and achieve success on your own terms.
So, what does success mean to you?
Take some time to reflect and define it for yourself.
Then, set achievable goals (yep I have a freebie on that) and work towards them every day.
Remember, success is not a destination, but a journey. Enjoy the process and celebrate your small wins along the way.
It's who you become on the way to that vision of success that is truly extraordinary!
