Yep, somehow Ariel always manages to feel at home, can’t say I’m very comfortable though!

I'm listening to 'Finding Me' read by the author herself Viola Davis and wowza, what a ride.⁠

She's an incredible woman, storyteller, actor, activist, mother, sister, daughter and more.⁠

I'm hanging on every single word.⁠

When she mentioned 'trading in her dream' it hit me, I could feel it everywhere.⁠

I believe to my bones that it's so important to dream and go for it, yet I know I have traded in mine way too often in the past.⁠

Go for it my friends.⁠

Believe⁠
Act ⁠
Achieve⁠

Do you know how confident you are? ⁠

Understanding your own level of confidence can be a game-changer when it comes to achieving your goals and living the life you want. ⁠

By identifying where you are, you can do the work needed to boost any areas that may be a bit wobbly (and we all have those).⁠

Confidence is a muscle we need to exercise - so think of today not as 'leg day', but as 'talk to a stranger day'. ⁠

Take the time to reflect on your confidence and work on building it up - you'll be amazed at what you can achieve. ⁠

Don't feel guilty about being unavailable at certain times.⁠

I've had to have a 'chat' with myself about my systems slipping. Having ADHD means I need to do whatever I can to support my focus and the tools on our tech can help with this - if we use it 🙃⁠

Over the last few months, I've been more reactive than proactive.⁠
Checking emails haphazardly⁠
Phone always on⁠
Not moving my To Do List to my calendar⁠

These were old habits. Ones that don't help me to do what I need to do, or be who I need to be.⁠

Now my systems don't work for everyone, but they work for me.⁠

My / family time 5am - 9am⁠
Work time 9am - 5pm⁠
My / family time 5pm - 9pm⁠
Sleep time 9pm - 5am⁠

I have times within the day for checking emails, phone calls & social media but otherwise, it's scheduled tasks / clients etc.⁠

It's not always perfect, nothing ever is.⁠
It's not set in stone, we need to be adaptable.⁠

We don't need to be available 24/7. It doesn't make us more loveable or worthy. Chances are it will lead to resentment and frustration or overwhelm.⁠

Find the system that:⁠
✔️gives you the sleep you need⁠
✔️allows you time with loved ones⁠
✔️helps you finish your tasks⁠
✔️keeps your health on track⁠
✔️finds space for your growth⁠
